Windows 7

Friday, September 25th, 2009

It is latest operating system released by Microsoft in line with the series of windows versions released earlier. Most interestingly it comes less than 3 years from the release of  Windows Vista. It is said that it is designed for being more focused and functionality specific. It advances on touch and hand-written technology , supports multi-core processors, virtual hard disks etc.

The windows movie maker, calendar, the classic start menu , windows photo gallery have been removed in this version. But all these are available for free in what the are promoting  as Windows Live Essentials.

Windows 7 will come in 6 different editions. But, only the Home premium and Professional will be available for retails around the globe. The other may go Enterprise use or to the developing countries. PC to TV and vice versa compatibility are available with this. The new feature of recording TV  programs in our absence is also an interesting feature. It’s not going to be long before it becomes a household name I guess.

Sugar + Green Tea–>Good Health

Saturday, September 5th, 2009

Hi readers! This time I have come up with a healthy idea. Most of the times you would have heard that adding sugar (in excess) to tea or coffee may lead to diabetes.

Most of us would try to avoid sugar and sweets as a precaution to avoid diabetes.  But scientists have come up with an interesting fact that you would have never imagined. They claim that adding ascorbic acid and sugar to green tea will make the body effortlessly suck up compounds that are vital in fighting health problems.

It is found that catecins which are nothing but polyphenols that are prevalent in tea will give hand in fighting heart diseases, stroke and cancer if ascorbic acid and sugar are added to green tea. In addition to this it is reported that adding lemon or citrus juice to green tea would greatly trigger consumers as citrus juices are a good source of ascorbic acids and tastes great too.

Hope this information is useful for green tea consumers. See you readers next time with a different health note.
