Your option would be to join an unlimited free downloads membership site. Once you pay a one time lifetime membership fee of about $30-$35, all the downloads would be free of cost for you forever, which would include unlimited free movie downloads, unlimited free game downloads, unlimited free music downloads, unlimited free software downloads and much more. So, instead of paying for each and every one of your downloads for your phone, all you need to do is pay a one time lifetime membership fee. Most of the good free download sites also offer a one or two year option. Without question, the unlimited free downloads membership site seems the best deal by far.
Not long ago Cartoon network was something of a privilege for only some people who had a cable connection. Well …for kids of this generation there were indeed days when it it came to television only two choices were there – Doordarshan or cable connection( no pay channel, dish concepts). Sometimes it is nice when we don’t have too many choices which tend to confuse & complicate things. Well…maybe it’s a sign of growing old wherein the tendency is always to say ..Oh those good old days! Coming home, completing homework( some cases finishing as much possible during school hours itself!) so that we have those 2 hours in the evening for cartoons telecast in doordarshan.
There were some wonderful cartoons like those of mickey mouse, Chip and Dale the rescue rangers, mummies alive, Heidi , Little Mermaid, Dennis the Menace, Tom and Jerry and my favourite Duck Tales!!! Sundays were devoted solely to Disney Hour and afternoon Sunday movies.
These days the few cartoons I have had a glimpse on are really pathetic. That divine story-line, aesthetic appeal of characters is extinct. There abundance of action cartoons with aliens carrying weapons – something I can hardly connect to.
Well, there were days I remember when watching a world cup match never lacked any ingredient of excitement. I clearly remember those which used to go on way past mid-night; requiring completion of homework, finishing household chores and all set to cheer our players. When the elders were off to sleep , we used to create are own atmosphere of celebration- lights off, volume a little higher than usual during the great sixers, fours &the nail-biting boundary catches!!( I still remember Inzamam-ul-Haq declared out after a classic boundary catch by Sachin J during a world Cup)
But these days with so many matches which I hardly follow any more the excitement which once I thought would never drain out has surprisingly drained out completely! Its been about 4 yrs since I have seen a complete match.
